A bitcoin payment farm in the Philippines, named Pouch.ph by CEO Ethan Rose,was launched in 2021. This farm has now announced that they are enabling almost 400 small businesses in the Philippines to generate payments through Bitcoin.

Pouch.ph makes use of the Lightning Network to enable quicker, more economical, and more convenient digital payments. In this method, every retailer will have a QR code. Customers can pay using that QR code from any wallet of bitcoin.Pouch.ph will then convert the bitcoin to pesos, transferring the money to the retailer's bank or mobile money account.

This is the beginning, many more shop will be included within this method very soon.
