In a move that stunned the market last week, BitMine Immersion Technologies—the Nasdaq-listed giant responsible for managing Ethereum’s largest corporate treasury—expanded its already-massive ETH holdings with an additional 69,822 ETH. This latest acquisition pushed its treasury to 3.63 million ETH, representing an astonishing 3% of all Ethereum in circulation, and bringing the company ever closer to its long-stated ambition of commanding 5% of the entire ETH supply.
Beyond Ethereum, BitMine’s balance sheet reflects the scale of a global powerhouse: 192 BTC, a sizable $38 million Worldcoin treasury position, stakes in Eightco Holdings, and nearly $800 million in uncommitted cash reserves. Even so, the prolonged downturn in digital asset prices has dragged the value of its full portfolio to $11.2 billion, while its ETH holdings alone are carrying an unrealized loss exceeding $3.4 billion, according to CryptoQuant data.
Chairman Thomas Lee addressed the ongoing market weakness with a surprisingly candid statement, noting that liquidity had been thin since October 10 and that broader technical indicators remained fragile.
