Saskaņā ar Odaily, Vīnes policija apstiprinājusi vardarbīgu 21 gada vecā Danylo K. slepkavību, Kharkivas mēra vietnieka Sergeja K. dēlu. Iespējamais motīvs ir saistīts ar viņa kriptovalūtu aktīviem. Divi Ukrainas aizdomās turētie, 19 un 45 gadus veci, it kā piespieda upuri atdot savu kriptovalūtu maka paroli pirms viņu piekāva līdz nāvei un sadedzināja viņa ķermeni. Pēc nozieguma aizdomās turētie bēga uz Ukrainu. Lieta ir nodota Ukrainas tiesu iestādēm Austrijas lūguma dēļ.
