Bitcoin’s $2.7B Options Expire Before Payrolls. Who’s Exposed ? $BTC options worth $2.7 billion settle five and a half hours before the jobs report. Deribit’s Friday contracts, 33,441 BTC of them, settle on Bitcoin’s average index price between 07:30 and 08:00 UTC. The October payrolls report lands at 13:30 UTC. Whatever that number does to the price, these options won’t feel it. Positioning leans bullish: 25,012 BTC in calls against 8,429 in puts, a put-to-call ratio of 0.34. Call interest piles up at $82,000 and $85,000, while puts cluster between $72,000 and $75,000. Max pain sits at $79,000, about 1.6% below the $80,280 spot price when the data was pulled. Anyone who used Friday puts as a hedge has a gap. An $80,000 put expiring Friday asked about $393 per $BTC on Deribit; the same strike expiring Saturday, which spans payrolls, asked $682, roughly 74% more. Stretch it to November 13, through payrolls and the November 10 CPI print, and it costs $1,445. The report itself: economists expect somewhere between 59,000 and 65,000 jobs depending on the survey, up from September’s 29,000, with unemployment holding at 4.2%. A hotter number could reinforce expectations of a December Fed hike and weigh on Bitcoin through higher yields and a stronger dollar. A much weaker one could bring back bets on easier policy. So who’s exposed ? Anyone treating Friday’s expiry as cover for Friday’s data. The options settle first; the jobs number decides what traders do next. #BTC Price Analysis# #Bitcoin Price Prediction: What is Bitcoins next move?#
