Franklin Templeton just cleared the path for two Nasdaq ETFs that turn stock dividends into bitcoin.
On October 27, 2026, Franklin Templeton’s Bitcoin Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) ETFs became effective: Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF (FBEQ, 0.09% fee) tracking the VettaFi US Large Cap 500 Bitcoin DRIP Index, and Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF (FIBT, 0.19% fee) tracking the VettaFi US Innovation 100 Bitcoin DRIP Index. Nasdaq approved listing and trading under both tickers. Each fund starts near 95% U.S. stocks with about 5% $BTC exposure.
Regular and special dividends are reinvested into bitcoin via bitcoin ETPs and related instruments per the prospectus. On the quarterly rebalance, if bitcoin’s weight exceeds 5%, it is cut back to 4.5%. No first trading date has been announced yet as of late October 28, 2026 coverage. Franklin Templeton manages about 1.8 trillion dollars in AUM.
