JPMorgan bringing its banking infrastructure onto Ethereum is a much bigger deal than another crypto project launching a token. JPM Coin, now part of JPMorgan's Kinexys payment infrastructure, is designed for institutional payments and moving money more efficiently using blockchain technology. It's not a typical cryptocurrency that retail traders can buy and speculate on. For $ETH, I see this as a long-term positive, especially for the RWA and institutional adoption narrative. When one of the world's largest banks starts using blockchain infrastructure for real financial activity, it gives the technology credibility beyond crypto speculation. But there's an important distinction. JPMorgan using Ethereum-based infrastructure doesn't automatically mean billions of dollars flowing into ETH purchases. The actual impact depends on whether transactions settle on Ethereum mainnet, how much activity moves on-chain and whether that creates meaningful demand for ETH. That's what I'd be watching. If more banks follow JPMorgan and tokenised deposits, securities and payments start moving onto public blockchain networks, the opportunity becomes much bigger. For me, this is bullish for Ethereum's adoption story, but the real price catalyst comes when institutional usage starts translating into sustained network demand. Wall Street adopting blockchain is one thing. Ethereum capturing the economic value from that adoption is what really matters.
