BTC fell below $84K.
Hundreds of millions in long positions were liquidated. Reports say anywhere from about $240M to $600M, depending on the source and the time window.
Facts:
→ BTC was rejected near $87K again
→ The dollar and Treasury yields were firm
→ Leveraged longs were flushed in minutes
The water did not break the canal bank.
The bank was built too thin.
The drop is not the story. The leverage is.
I know this from my own screen. The market did not beat me. My size did. A broker has stopped out my trades before, more than once.
This week I saw posts calling $62K. Posts calling $95K. Posts calling $126K.
Same chart. Opposite stories.
Nobody knows. Not them. Not me.
What I CAN do
Watch how price reacts around $83K-$84K, not the headline. Set my stop-loss before entry. Keep my size small enough that a flush cannot reach me.
What I CANNOT do
Cannot call the bottom. Cannot trust any post with a date and a target. Cannot control the market, only my size and my exit.
So here is my question, and it is not "pump or dump":
If BTC drops another 3% tomorrow, is your position still alive?
