Hyperliquid starts buying back $HYPE with USDC yield ๐Ÿ‘€

Just received the first payment from the AQAv2 framework: ~$14.58 million in USDC.

This is different from the usual buybacks:
โ€ข Not from trading fees, but from USDC reserve yield held on the platform
โ€ข ~90% of the yield (after costs) is routed to the Assistance Fund
โ€ข The fund then buys $HYPE on the open market and burns it

Previously, buybacks relied almost entirely on trading fees (already very aggressive).

Now thereโ€™s a second source that doesnโ€™t depend on trading volume.
Estimated extra annual buybacks from AQAv2: $135โ€“160M+.

Total potential yearly buybacks could exceed $900M+.

$HYPEโ€™s deflationary model just got more stable.
