On 12 August 2026, a sneaky bug let an attacker "print" about 4 billion fake ONE, around 26% of the supply. It was like a bank ATM giving out money that never existed. ๐ง
The time machine โช
Harmony rewound the chain to just before the attack. The catch is that more than 109,000 normal transactions got wiped in the process.
The plot twist ๐ฌ
Harmony is retiring its own blockchain and moving ONE to Ethereum as an ERC-20 token. Same total supply, with new tokens airdropped and no claim forms.
