Gold Doesn't Need To Rally ๐Ÿ“ˆ

That's probably my favorite part of the tokenized-gold yield thesis.

If I'm already bullish on gold, I don't need another strategy whose return depends on gold going higher.

I already have that exposure.

What I want is a separate source of return.

Theoriq Gold Vault uses $XAUt as its collateral base, then looks for yield through things like cross-venue lending spreads, Pendle term pricing and relative-value opportunities.

The important distinction is that those returns are designed to come from market structure rather than the direction of gold itself.

July is a useful example.

The vault reported +0.321% net in gold terms for the month and +1.29% cumulative net return since its first full month in April, with the return profile coming from the strategy layer rather than needing gold appreciation.

That's where I think assets like $PAXG get much more interesting over time.

Tokenization made gold portable.

DeFi can potentially make that portable collateral productive.

Those are two completely different upgrades.
