Andy Chorlton, chief investment officer for fixed income at M&G, said the recent rise in bond yields has made fixed income more attractive after years of weak returns, according to Bloomberg.

He said real yields are positive, with 10-year real yields in the US and the UK at 2%, and described fixed income as a low-risk asset class versus other investments.
