๐Ÿšจ BREAKING: US Just Sanctioned Iran's Bitcoin Exchange

Hundreds of millions in $BTC transferred by an Iranian exchange to the Revolutionary Guard. US Treasury put Iran's BitBank on sanctions list today.

Bessent's exact words: "Bitcoin payment channels are not exempt from OFAC oversight."

Here's what happened ๐Ÿ‘‡

Last week Iran started using $BTC for foreign trade settlements. I said don't rush to call it global adoption - will USDT be frozen?

Now answer is clear: No freeze, direct sanctions.

Iran is forced to use BTC because US sanctions make it harder to receive money and buy goods. But if you settle in BTC, US sanctions your channels.

This is not freedom, it's a cat-and-mouse game.

Now US is sanctioning the exchanges themselves, meaning they found Iran's BTC routes. Next Iran will either switch exchanges, switch channels, or come back to the table.

And today Trump met 6 Gulf countries at UNGA to discuss next phase of Iran deal. Sanctions on one side, ceasefire talk on other.

$BTC is at $86,265 - price unaffected. But the real question is, will this become the new normal?

What do you think? Will using BTC for cross-border settlement become EASIER or HARDER after this?
