Smubarak๐จ AI STOCKS ARE RISING โ BUT WHERE IS THE NEXT OPPORTUNITY?
The AI trade is no longer just about Nvidia.
Nvidiaโs latest results show how powerful the demand cycle has become: Q2 FY2027 revenue reached $96.2B, up 106% YoY, while Data Center revenue hit $89B, up 117%.
But thereโs another side to the story: the infrastructure bill is getting enormous. Reuters reported that Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Oracle are investing heavily enough that their combined capex could exceed free cash flow by 2027.
That creates an interesting question for investors: what happens beyond the headline AI stocks?
AI needs GPUs, but it also needs electricity, cooling, networking, data centers and grid capacity. Reuters recently highlighted the growing opportunity in power and cooling infrastructure, while Big Tech is also turning toward nuclear and other energy sources to secure reliable electricity.
There is also a policy dimension. Trump has announced plans for an โAI Forceโ and an AI adviser, while major AI leaders including Anthropicโs Dario Amodei and OpenAIโs Sam Altman have supported a more cautious approach to frontier-model development.
So Iโm not looking at AI as one single trade.
Iโm watching the entire ecosystem: chips โ cloud โ power โ cooling โ data centers โ software.
For me, the key question is no longer simply โWill AI grow?โ
It is: Which parts of the AI infrastructure cycle can turn enormous spending into sustainable cash flow? ๐
