🇵🇰🚨 PAKISTAN TIGHTENS GOVERNMENT FUNDS ALLOCATION RULES

Pakistan’s Finance Division has tightened procedures for re-appropriation, Technical Supplementary Grants (TSGs) and Supplementary Grants for the current and coming financial years.

📌 Key changes:
🚫 No re-appropriation from unreleased budgets
📅 May 31 cut-off relaxations only in exceptional cases
💰 ERE shortfalls may be covered from Non-ERE funds
🧾 TSG requests must identify funding sources and equivalent surrender
🔍 TSG cases will face additional scrutiny before approval
🏗️ PSDP-related TSGs must go through the Planning Ministry
❌ No additional unbudgeted expenditure beyond Parliament-approved levels
🌪️ Exception: severe natural disasters

💡 Funds approved through TSGs will still depend on available fiscal space and the applicable release strategy.
