Solana rallies but onchain data says caution

SOL jumped 12% to $72 after touching $64 lows, fueled by tokenized stock trading hitting $113 million in 24 hours on Jupiter Aggregator. The AI-driven tokenization wave drew fresh capital into Solana-based automated market makers, sparking optimism about real-world asset adoption on the network.

But the rally has cracks. Total Value Locked on Solana dropped 11% over the past month. Kamino fell 19%, Raydium declined 17%, and liquid staking products trimmed 20%. Thin liquidity in AMM pools raises sustainability concerns as multiple issuers compete for similar tokenized products.

The competition intensifies. Ethereum layer-2 Base narrowed the TVL gap significantly over the same period. While Solana leads in speed and low fees, the DeFi ecosystem is fragmenting across chains.
