What catches my attention is how it behaves when markets become uncertain and incentives begin pulling participants in different directions. I've watched enough capital rotate across crypto narratives to know that coordination is strongest when everyone expects prices to rise. The real test comes when liquidity dries up and every participant starts optimizing for survival instead of cooperation.

If developers, validators, and users no longer believe staying aligned serves their interests, the protocol doesn't need a technical failure to weaken. It simply loses shared expectations.
