@Dusk Network is calling itself a privacy blockchain for financial applications, and honestly... that’s the part I keep coming back to.

It’s a layer-1, built around the Confidential Security Contract, or XSC, standard, and it supports confidential smart contracts.

I don’t really want to overthink it tonight. The basic idea is pretty clear, at least on paper. Privacy is the focus, but specifically around financial applications.

Dusk Network brands itself around that. A privacy blockchain, not just another chain trying to do everything at once.

And the XSC standard is a big part of that, since it’s what powers the Confidential Security Contract side of things.

I’ve been staring at charts for too long so maybe I’m missing something... but that’s basically where my head is with Dusk right now.

Layer-1. Privacy-focused. Financial applications. Confidential smart contracts.

Simple enough... now the question is always whether the thing actually gets used the way it’s supposed to.
