🇺🇦 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said China has significant influence over Russia and could potentially use that leverage to encourage negotiations.

In an NHK interview on September 16, Zelenskyy said he had seen North Korean missiles used by Russia, but said he had not seen Chinese missiles in Ukraine. He nevertheless pointed to Chinese machinery, technology and components reportedly appearing in Russian weapons systems.

He also argued that China has influence over Russia’s energy, banking and sanctions-evasion networks.
