Here’s What I Think Happens Next on
$AKE First,
$AKE has just made a strong move, but the interesting part is that Open Interest only increased around 19% over the last 24H. That’s not an extreme increase compared with the price move, which suggests this pump hasn’t been driven by an excessive amount of new leverage.
Second, the long/short positioning is still heavily tilted toward shorts. Around 61% of accounts are short, while only around 39% are long. Binance’s long/short account ratio is also below 1, showing that shorts are currently dominating the market.
This is where the setup gets interesting.
If
$AKE continues pushing higher while the majority of traders remain short, we could see shorts getting trapped and forced to close, adding more fuel to the move.
The liquidation map also shows a notable short liquidation area around $0.0119–$0.0120. If price reaches that zone, a short squeeze could potentially accelerate the move.
Funding is currently positive but still relatively low at around +0.01%, so the market doesn’t look extremely overheated from funding either.
In my view, if buyers maintain momentum and shorts continue building,
#AKE could make another strong push toward the short liquidation zone and potentially challenge the recent highs.
