There is absolutely nothing wrong with relying on someone for a certain period of time—especially when that person has already established their skills, experience, and ability to remain profitable. Learning from someone who has walked the path before you can be invaluable.

The problem begins when we become dependent on having everything served to us on a platter, constantly searching for an effortless setup instead of developing the ability to create our own.

I genuinely dislike this tendency not only in others, but even when I recognize it in myself.

True self-development takes time, relentless effort, discipline, and countless silent, restless nights spent learning, failing, reflecting, and trying again. But that difficult process is precisely what transforms you into an independent, skilled, and consistently capable person.

Once you have endured the rough and demanding journey yourself, you no longer need someone to hand you the answers—you learn how to find them.

If you truly want to stand apart from the crowd, you have to be willing to go through the process that most people are unwilling to endure.
