Hetal Dalal, chief operating officer and president of Institutional Investor Advisory Services, said Tata Sons is expected to resist the Reserve Bank of India's efforts to require a listing, according to Bloomberg.

Dalal said an initial public offering could limit the group's operating flexibility.
