China's yuan midpoint strengthened to 6.7809 per dollar on Friday, up 19 pips from the previous trading day and the highest level since August 20, according to ETNet.
The People's Bank of China set the previous fixing at 6.7828. The daily reference rates for other major currencies also moved, including the euro at 7.8406 yuan, the yen at 4.2301 yuan per 100 yen, and the Hong Kong dollar at 0.8650 yuan.
