The deeper I look into Dusk, the more I realize that putting an asset on-chain is only one piece of the puzzle.
What really interests me is what happens after tokenization. Financial markets need something more nuanced than choosing between complete transparency and complete secrecy.
That’s where DuskEVM and Hedger caught my attention. A familiar Solidity-based environment combined with privacy technologies like homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs could make it possible to build financial workflows where sensitive information stays protected while necessary verification remains possible.
For me, this changes how I think about RWAs. The bigger opportunity isn’t simply creating a token that represents an existing asset. It’s whether issuance, transfers, and settlement can operate within an architecture designed for the realities of regulated finance.
I’m still watching rather than making big conclusions. The real test will be seeing how these ideas perform with actual financial use cases as Dusk moves toward mainnet.
