I’ve been researching DUSK for a while now, and what keeps pulling me back is the way it approaches privacy.
Most people hear “privacy” in crypto and immediately think of anonymous transactions. I think Dusk is aiming at something much bigger: financial privacy that can still work inside a regulated environment.
That matters to me because I don’t see institutions moving serious capital onchain if every balance, position, and transaction is visible to everyone.
Dusk is a Layer-1 built around this problem.
Its XSC model focuses on confidential securities and tokenized assets, while selective disclosure allows users to reveal only the information that is actually required.
For me, that is the interesting part.
It creates a possible bridge between DeFi, real-world assets, compliance, and institutional finance.
I’m not treating DUSK as an easy bet, but the deeper I research it, the more I think this privacy-plus-compliance thesis deserves attention.
