According to Foresight News, Sui has announced the successful deployment of its latest consensus protocol, Mysticeti, on its testnet. This development has resulted in an 80% reduction in consensus time on the Sui public testnet, down to 390 milliseconds.

Mysticeti was developed through in-depth research into the Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus mechanism. The protocol is set to go live on the mainnet this summer. The deployment of Mysticeti on the Sui testnet marks a significant step forward in the development and implementation of consensus protocols.
