In the latest burning sequence sponsored by Shibarium, the Shiba Inu team burned 8,471,583,707 (8.47 billion) SHIB tokens worth $90,307.
This 8.47 billion eliminated SHIB is the fourth in a series of tokens burned from Shibarium gas fees. Well-known Shiba Inu content marketer Lucie posted the details of the transaction in a recent communication on X.

Leading Shiba Inu burn follower Shibburn also confirmed the transaction with a recent tweet and stated that 8.47 billion tokens were sent to a dead, unrecoverable address. Also, data from Etherscan showed that the burn occurred on December 22, 22:51:35 +UTC.
In particular, this fourth burning took place within 24 hours after the Shiba Inu team initiated the third burning, as explained by The Crypto Basic. In particular, the Shiba Inu team deleted 8.53 billion SHIB tokens at 12:30:59 +UTC on December 22. The value of the burned tokens was $90,711 at the time of reporting.
Shibarium-Based Burns Exceeded 33.8 Billion Shiba Inu in 18 Days
