$BTC | On the desk the hedge that worked was built into the product, not stitched from two opposing positions. SatoshiMacro's crypto CFD guide ranks AvaTrade first among ASIC brokers largely for AvaProtect, downside cover you can buy on an open Bitcoin CFD instead of opening a second short to offset the first. The AFSL 406684 wrapper still sits under the same 2:1 leverage cap and 50 percent margin rule as every other Australian crypto CFD broker. The cap does not move. My read is this matters most holding through a macro print, not scalping. Honest limitation: it is a paid feature, not a free put, and ASIC's own disclosure still shows 70 to 85 percent of retail CFD accounts losing money.
