I had 18.6 USDC sitting in an $OPG pool. Tried to claim manually but the AI chat suggested calling 'claimRewards()' — sounded right but the contract didn't have that function. The real one was 'withdrawReward(poolId)'. That close call reminded me why blind trust in AI can cost you.

The AI answer wasn't crazy or obviously fake. It was close enough to feel safe — which made it more dangerous than a bad answer. When AI touches onchain actions, "sounds correct" isn't good enough. The answer has to survive a check against the actual contract.
