#Dusk @Dusk $DUSK opened the docs expecting Phoenix to be the headline lane. Per @Dusk_Foundation's own Privacy page, admission of new Phoenix transactions is temporarily paused after the Boreas upgrade, with a follow-up upgrade planned to reopen it. Moonlight, the public account model, is listed as live on mainnet. The privacy story I'd absorbed was really a roadmap story.
The same page lists Hedger, the confidential layer for DuskEVM, as live on the public testnet, and says that shouldn't be described as DuskEVM mainnet. It also says ordinary EVM state is transparent unless an app adds its own privacy layer. So the default someone meets today is public. That last step is my inference. "Private by design" and the current default are two separate things.
Dusk Domains went live on mainnet on 22 October, per a merged Dusk docs pull request on GitHub: readable .dusk names for Dusk accounts. I didn't pull a transaction hash, so this rests on docs, not chain data. Whether names work with shielded accounts, I haven't confirmed. What changed for me was separating "built" from "switched on." Next I'm checking the Privacy page for when Phoenix admission reopens. Anyone seen that change
