According to TechFlow, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange plans to launch the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect transaction settlement acceleration platform HKEX SYNAPSE on October 9. The platform uses the open source smart contract language DAML, which can synchronize data across blockchains and centralized databases, standardize and simplify post-trading workflows, improve operational efficiency and transparency, and reduce settlement risks.
