Bitcoin is sitting at $75,800, basically flat, Fear & Greed at 28 — deep fear. Coins moving on-chain are selling at a loss. And BlackRock's ETF clients just sold $403M of Bitcoin and $91M of ETH.
But the other side of the tape is doing the exact opposite. Whale wallets holding 1,000+ BTC are pulling coins off exchanges — outflows accelerating over the last 10 days, per CryptoQuant. Funding is flat at 0.0091%, nobody's overleveraged. Even the prediction markets are split: Kalshi traders see $71,000 this month as possible.
So one side is panic-selling at a loss and the other is quietly stacking. They can't both be right.
My stance: I side with the whales here, cautiously. Fear at 28, sellers taking losses, leverage washed out — that's what bottoms are made of, not tops. But the ETF selling tells me this isn't a V-shape either. More like a slow grind where the patient get paid and the impatient get shaken out.
