CYBER is rallying, but its old gas-token pitch does not prove that more Cyber transactions require more CYBER purchases.

As of 2026-11-06 17:07 UTC+8, Binance's CYBERUSDT perpetual was up 44.9% over the past day.

A CyberConnect announcement dated 2023-07-14 projected future CYBER gas use across its protocol. Today's official network table lists ETH as Cyber mainnet's currency. The current token overview describes CYBER as a utility and governance token.

That breaks the automatic gas-demand argument: network fees paid in ETH do not, by themselves, require buying CYBER. The old protocol-level plan cannot establish that CYBER is the mainnet's fee currency. This leaves other possible sources of token demand open.

If your investment thesis depends on network usage driving CYBER purchases, identify the mechanism connecting them. A rising transaction count and a rising token price alone cannot demonstrate it.
