98% REPLENISHED. THE LAST 2% STILL MATTERS.
Binance's latest recovery update reports approximately 98% of the affected assets replenished. The exchange says it has set aside more than 100% of the funds required to cover the losses. It is still sourcing the remaining, less-liquid assets through market and OTC channels.
The November 4 Proof of Reserves snapshot expanded coverage from 10 to 44 tokens. Binance estimated another 50–60 hours to generate the complete zero-knowledge proof from that snapshot, after which holders of covered tokens would be able to independently verify whether their balances are backed at least 1:1.
The November 5 withdrawal update adds more assets and networks to the phased reopening process. Availability remains dependent on individual asset/network checks, and delays may occur during periods of high traffic.
What investors should distinguish
Replenishment progress is not the same as a completed investigation.
A reserve snapshot is not the same as a fully generated, independently verifiable proof.
An announced withdrawal reopening is not a guarantee that every asset/network pair is currently available.
WEALTH ENGINE TAKEAWAY
Measure recovery through verifiable milestones—not just reassuring percentages.
Question: Which evidence would matter most to you after an exchange incident: a completed independent proof, confirmed withdrawal access, or a detailed post-incident report?
