$APR is now down 93.33% from its August high of $0.63, currently trading around $0.042.
A drop of this magnitude raises some important questions:
- Is the project still on solid footing?
- Has the token been oversold?
- Are buyers beginning to step back in?
- Is there enough liquidity to support a recovery?
- Could this be a genuine buying opportunity, or is further downside still possible?
Personally, there are a few reasons I'm approaching $APR with caution.
The biggest concern is the recent increase in circulating supply.
Last month, more than 42% of the previously circulating supply was unlocked and released into the market.
Before this event, only around 27.8% of the token's total supply was in circulation.
Following the unlock, that figure has increased to approximately 40.2%.
To put this into perspective:
- Maximum supply: 1 billion $APR
- Current circulating supply: 402.08 million $APR
- Percentage in circulation: 40.2%
This is an important development because a significant increase in available tokens can create additional selling pressure, particularly when market demand is weak.
My concern isn't simply that $APR has fallen 93%. It's whether the market can absorb the additional supply and generate enough demand to support a sustainable recovery.
So if price struggled to hold at 27.8%, what gives us confidence it can hold at 40.2%? And with more unlocks still to come, what would support the price? Is there buyback activity, growing demand, or a clear catalyst that can absorb new supply?
Anyone considering a position should have answers to these questions before committing capital.
