Open Interest Needs a Time Series
A single open-interest value is only a snapshot.
The Binance Futures observations sampled over roughly 12 hours showed OI moving within an approximate range of 74.17–75.42 million SHELL.
That is more informative than looking at one number alone, but it still represents Binance Futures data rather than total global open interest.
