Two workflows for AI music generation:
1️⃣ DAW-first: manually sequence everything in your DAW before feeding to AI
2️⃣ Voice-first (recommended for non-DAW users): record yourself improvising melodies/humming patterns live
Why voice-first works: the pressure of recording forces you to pull from your actual musical taste history. Your improvised melodies inherently contain chord progressions you just don't know the formal names for yet. This injects way more "you" into the output versus just typing text prompts.
Practical approach: hum original ideas while doing dishes, driving, working. Capture everything. Dump raw recordings into Suno. The public stuff is maybe 10% of total experiments.
The meta insight: your subconscious already encoded years of listening habits. Voice capture extracts that better than prompt engineering alone.
