Binance says about 98% of the assets affected by the October 29 security incident are now replenished, and its latest Proof of Reserves snapshot covers 44 tokens, up from 10.

In Recovery Update #7, published at 15:23 UTC on November 4, 2026, Binance reiterated that user funds are safe and that it is covering the losses from its own resources, having set aside more than 100% of the assets needed. The remaining ~2% is still being bought through market and OTC channels, a slower process because those tokens are less liquid. The figure stood at about 90% in Update #3 on October 31.

The new snapshot was taken at 00:00 UTC on November 4. Binance expects the full zero-knowledge proof to take roughly 50–60 hours, after which holders of covered tokens can independently verify their balances are backed at least 1:1. Withdrawals continue to reopen in phases. $BNB
