The Hardest Part of Trading Isn’t Finding an Entry
Sometimes the hardest part of trading is sticking to the plan after entering.
Before buying, I may have a clear entry, target, and stop-loss. But once the price starts moving, emotions can take over.
If it goes up quickly, I start thinking I should hold longer. If it drops a little, I wonder whether I should exit early.
That’s when a simple plan can turn into an emotional decision.
I’m learning that having a strategy is only one part of trading. Following it when the market moves against my expectations is just as important.
Not every trade needs to be profitable. But every trade should teach me something.
I’d rather review a small loss and understand my mistake than take a profit without knowing whether I followed my plan.
What’s harder for you: entering a trade or managing it after entry?
