Funny how fast the board flips. Yesterday $ZEC was the day's biggest loser, down about 10% to around $1,140 — today it's the day's biggest winner, up roughly 12-14% back above $1,300. Same coin, same week, completely different tape.

What makes me take this one more seriously than a random green candle is what's underneath it. CoinDesk notes ZEC open interest jumped 25% alongside the move, with the strongest market-order buying of the day — that's real money positioning, not just thin-book drift. And it's not alone: privacy peer XMR is up around 5%, Venice's VVV led the CoinDesk 100 at about 7% intraday (up 17% over 24 hours), and INJ paced the DeFi rebound at 6.2%. Meanwhile $BTC itself clawed back to about $78,300 after dipping to $75,600 on the midterm results.

Here's my honest read, though. A 14% snapback after a 10% washout is exactly the kind of move that traps chasers: yesterday's sellers are still underwater and every bounce is their exit. What would flip me from sceptical to interested is ZEC holding above $1,300 through a second session while BTC stays over $78,000 — a held reversal, not a one-day spike. If it gives most of this back overnight, it was just the market's fastest round-trip.

Are you buying this ZEC reversal, or waiting to see if $1,300 holds first?
