$AMD just dropped a monster quarter — and the guidance is even better.

Q3 revenue hit $13.4B, up 45% YoY and above the $13.1B consensus. EPS came in at $2.09, up 74%, beating the $1.95 estimate.

The real story is data center. That segment did $8.5B in sales, nearly doubling with 97% growth. EPYC server CPUs and the new Instinct MI450 GPUs are driving demand. Data center is now the majority of the business.

Client and gaming were softer. That segment fell 8% to $3.7B. PC sales were up 7%, but gaming dropped 40%. Embedded grew 29% to $1.1B.

The Q4 guide is the headline: $17B at the midpoint, plus or minus 3%. That's well above the $16.2B Street number and implies roughly 66% growth YoY with a big sequential step-up. Non-GAAP gross margin expected around 55%.

AI infrastructure spending is showing up in the numbers. $AMD is taking share in both server CPUs and accelerators. The setup into year-end looks strong.
