NEAR Slips Below $4.15: Sellers Regain Control After a Failed Bounce

NEAR Protocol is trading at $4.142 on the 4H chart, down 5.67% on the day. After rallying toward $4.43 and getting rejected at the moving averages, price rolled over with a heavy red candle and now sits near the bottom of its recent range. This is the weakest session among the majors I’ve been tracking.

Price structure: The 24h range sits between $4.075 and $4.427, a wide swing that shows how sharp the latest drop was. The earlier recovery from the $3.909 low printed higher lows, but that structure has now been broken. The pullback from $4.810 remains intact, and the bounce has faded into a lower high.

Moving averages: Price has fallen back below the MA(7) at 4.259 and the MA(25) at 4.327, and both are now turning down. The MA(99) at 4.668 is sloping lower overhead, so every rally has been meeting layered resistance. Until NEAR reclaims the 4.26 to 4.33 area, the short-term bias stays bearish.

Volume: 24h volume is about 14.75M NEAR (roughly $62.6M). The latest sell candle came with a visible volume spike compared to the quiet stretch before it, which suggests the breakdown has real selling behind it rather than a low-liquidity drift. The current small green candle looks more like a pause than a reversal.

What I’m watching:

Support: $4.075, followed by the $3.909 swing low
Resistance: $4.259 to $4.327, where the MA(7) and MA(25) sit, then the $4.427 daily high and the $4.668 MA(99)

A clean 4H close back above $4.33 with rising volume would be the first sign that buyers are stepping back in. A break below $4.075 would put the $3.909 low in play again.
