$BTC has been stuck in a tight 77,000-77,900 box for two days now, ever since the flush from ~81.9k down to the 76,270 wick. Up about 0.5% on the day and the 4h candles keep shrinking.

On the NanoTrading Fire chart (4h) price sits well under the value area, VAL is around 79,960 and the POC is all the way up at ~81,740. The heatmap shows a thick band at 78,500-78,900 right overhead, then another strip at 80,000-80,300. Below, the liquidity is stacked around 77,000-77,300, and the liquidation map has a pocket of long liqs just under price near 77.5k, while the big short liq clusters sit up near 81.5-81.7k.

Futures are calm but leaning one way. About 72% of Binance accounts are long (ratio 2.57), top traders at 2.73, funding is sitting flat at +0.01%, and OI has barely moved, around $7.5B. Nobody is really adding, they're just waiting.

My read: reclaim 78.9k and the path toward 80k and that short liq pocket opens up. Lose 77k and those crowded longs probably get swept toward 76.2k first. I'm not touching $BTC in the middle of this box.

Which side breaks first for you, 78.9k or 77k?

NFA, just my chart notes.
