The latest Glassnode metrics highlight a key shift in corporate and institutional treasury behavior.

1. Price vs. Treasury Cost Basis
Bitcoin spent a recent stretch underwater relative to the aggregate purchase price of corporate treasuries (indicated by the pink zone on the lower chart). While $BTC has successfully climbed back above this threshold, the reaction from treasury desks has been noticeably quiet.
2. Net Treasury Flows Stalling
In late 2024 and throughout 2025, price expansion was heavily supported by massive monthly spikes in net treasury buying (often exceeding 50K–100K+ BTC/month).
Currently, monthly net inflows are hovering near baseline levels.
There is no aggressive panic selling, but aggressive accumulation has visibly dried up for now.
3. What This Means for Market Structure
Corporate treasuries are no longer absorbing liquid supply at the pace they once were. This leaves price action more dependent on spot retail, derivatives positioning, and ETF flows in the short term. For a structural continuation, we want to see green inflow bars start ramping back up.
💬 Discussion:
Do you think corporate treasuries have finished building their core positions, or are they waiting for lower volatility before deploying capital again?
