🔒 $BTC Holds $77.5K as Binance Plans Withdrawal Restart After $6.3B Hack

The biggest crypto story today, 31 October, is the Binance security breach — and the recovery plan. In its notice on 30 October (published at 00:33 PKT today), Binance said phased withdrawals should restart within about 34 hours, once security checks are complete, with an initial reserve snapshot first and results expected by Monday, 2 November. Around $3 billion of the roughly $6.3 billion stolen has reportedly been located through recovery efforts.

What it means in simple words: the hack shook trust, but prices have steadied instead of crashing further. Bitcoin trades near $77,540, up about 0.3% in 24 hours, with a 24-hour range of $76,326 to $78,110. Ethereum sits near $2,243.

Levels traders are watching: Bitcoin support near $76,300, then $75,900 — if $76,300 holds, a move back toward $78,000 and then $80,000 is possible; if it breaks, $75,900 is next. Ethereum support is near $2,208, with resistance at $2,300. The withdrawal restart itself is the next test: smooth access would calm nerves, while any delay could bring fresh selling.

When withdrawals restart, will you keep your coins on exchanges — or move them to your own wallet?
