My stance first, because I hate fence-sitting posts: I'm not buying this dip yet. Not out of panic — out of patience.
$BTC is around $77,300 this morning after touching $76,326 overnight, and the Fear & Greed index just crashed from 51 to 30 in a single day. About $1.57B in futures positions got liquidated in 24 hours. That's fear, but fear alone isn't a floor — the first fear spike after a shock like this is usually when people buy too early and get shaken out again.
Here's what actually splits the room for me: analysts like Ali Martinez are eyeing the 200-day average near $73,000 as the real dip-buy zone, and Strategy — the biggest corporate holder — paid an average of $75,446 per coin, so we're only about 2% above its cost basis. If $76K gives way, the next serious conversation is $73K, not $77K.
So where do you stand?
A) Buying here — fear is the opportunity
B) Waiting for ~$73K before touching it
C) Waiting for a reclaim above $80K first
D) Sitting in stables until the dust settles
I'm in camp B, leaning C if the reclaim comes first. What's your vote — and what would change your mind?
