If Binance decided to freeze withdrawals for security reasons, why didn't it also temporarily halt trading?
When withdrawals are suspended while trading remains active, users can still open and close positions, exposing them to sharp market volatility without having full access to move their funds. This situation may increase the risk of liquidations and raise concerns about whether all traders are operating under equal conditions.
Wouldn't it have been more transparent and fair to pause trading as well until the issue was fully resolved?
