If you're holding funds on Binance, please be extra careful with any messages you receive right now.

With reports of a security incident and withdrawals being paused, there's one thing people often underestimate: the scammers who jump on situations like this.

And trust me, they won't waste any time.

Expect emails asking you to verify your account, links supposedly helping you secure your funds, or random people on Telegram and WhatsApp pretending to be Binance support.

Some of these messages will look incredibly convincing.

Just keep a few things in mind:

Never share your password, 2FA codes or seed phrase. Real support won't ask for them.

Don't click links in messages. Open Binance directly through the app or your usual website.

If someone is pushing you to act immediately, that's a massive red flag.

The sad reality is that even people who weren't affected by the original incident could end up losing their funds to scammers afterward.

So take your time, double-check everything and maybe give a heads-up to friends who are newer to crypto.

Stay safe out there.
