🚀 $HYPE Jumps While the Rest of Crypto Falls — Why Hyperliquid Is Different Today

While most of the market fell on Friday, Hyperliquid's HYPE went the other way. Reports on Friday morning, 30 October (about 8:54 AM PKT), put HYPE up more than 18% in 24 hours, trading near $93–$95 with a 24-hour high around $96.70 — close to its $98 record from 23 September.

What happened: on Thursday, 29 October, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, announced a deal with trade(xyz) to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures — contracts with no expiry date — to the US. Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller said he has invested in trade(xyz), and Elon Musk replied to his post with one word: "Interesting."

The honest catch: US regulatory approval is still pending and no launch date has been announced, so this is a news-driven rally, not a finished product launch. The fresh chart shows HYPE has already cooled from a $97.74 high to about $90.75.

Levels traders are watching: resistance at $96.70–$97.74, then the $98 record. Support near $88.50 — if $88 holds, the rally stays alive; if it breaks, $76 is the next area to watch.

If approval news comes, do you think HYPE breaks its $98 record first — or cools back toward $88? Tell me what you are watching.
