Japan's Financial Services Agency has published a 609-page commissioned study of overseas financial regulation, CoinPost reported. Atsumi & Sakai, a Japanese law firm, authored the study covering eight countries and regions to inform Japan's financial system planning and legislation. The study examines crypto asset exchanges, stablecoins and real-world asset tokenization. The study says China's rules generally prohibit domestic real-world asset tokenization activities, with exceptions requiring approval from competent authorities and use of specific financial infrastructure.
