Abstract shuts down on Dec 15. Bridge out now, not in the December rush.

The Pudgy Penguins-backed Ethereum L2 announced its wind-down on Oct 6. Per the team's own migration page, anything not bridged off by Dec 15 becomes inaccessible. That's 47 days from today.

Quick facts from the announcement:
- Mainnet launched Jan 2025, 144+ apps, 400K+ users
- Igloo funded it for 18 months and lost "tens of millions"
- Reasons given: thin liquidity, limited DeFi, little institutional crossover

My takeaway: an L2 runs only as long as its operator wants it to. When the operator walks away, your exit is the bridge, and the native bridge has a delay of roughly three hours. If you still hold anything on Abstract, bridge it back to Ethereum mainnet first rather than depositing straight to an exchange, and do it now while the queue is short.
